Limited Warranty
When purchasing any product from the Website, the purchaser agrees to the terms outlined in this Service and Warranty Policy (“Policy”).
Ovlox Group (“Warrantor” or “Company”) extends the following limited warranty solely against manufacturing defects to the purchaser of the Product from the Website (“Product”) for a period of 2 (two) years (“Warranty Term”), commencing on the date of purchase from the Website.
The Warrantor assures the Purchaser that the Products are free from any defects in material or workmanship. If, following initial installation, any components of the Product become defective, the Warrantor will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the Product as outlined in this Policy.
This Policy is applicable only when the Product is installed in accordance with the printed instructions provided. Furthermore, the installation must be conducted by Ovlox authorised service personnel. This Policy and its remedies, to the extent permissible by law, constitute the exclusive terms and supersede all other warranties, remedies, and conditions, whether written, oral, express, or implied, provided by the Company.
Terms and Conditions
- This Warranty shall remain valid for the duration of the Warranty Term, beginning from the date of purchase indicated on the original invoice. The Warranty exclusively covers rectification of manufacturing defects.
- Before the initiation of replacement procedures for manufacturing defect complaints, all products covered under the Warranty shall undergo a physical verification process. This verification will be conducted by a qualified Technical Officer or an authorised representative appointed by the Company.
- Upon successful completion of the verification process and confirmation of warranty eligibility, the Company shall facilitate the replacement of the affected products. The surface finish or shade of the Product is excluded from coverage under this warranty. Replaced parts or products shall remain the sole property of the Company and must be returned to the Company.
- Damage to the Product resulting from non-operation due to weather conditions is not covered under this warranty.
- Any tampering with the Product by combining it with products or parts from other manufacturers shall render the warranty void.
- This warranty excludes any conditions or liabilities not expressly set forth herein.
- The Company may limit warranty service for the Product to the country where the Company, its affiliates, or its authorised distributors originally sold the device, and not to any other country to which the product is subsequently exported.
- Any claims arising from modifications, extensions, or additions to the warranty provided under this Policy by any Company-authorised seller, agent, or employee shall be considered invalid.
- If any term is deemed illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected.
- This warranty is subject to inspection by the manufacturer to verify claims made.
- The warranty does not include products that have not been fully paid for.
- The Company’s decision regarding the admissibility of claims under the warranty shall be final and binding.
- The Company reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions outlined in this warranty without prior notice.
Claim Procedure
- The customer must present the signed and sealed warranty card along with the original product.

- In the event that a technician needs to visit the installation location following the registration of a service request, the prevailing price list will apply if the location is within the municipal limits of the city or town where the Company’s service network operates. Should a technician need to visit an installation location beyond the municipal limits of the city or town where the Company service network is available, the customer shall be responsible for the dealer nexus, travel, and other incidental expenses.
- For any claims made under this warranty, the Company will, at its discretion, repair and/or replace any malfunctioning product(s).
Disclaimer/Limitations
- This Policy represents the sole warranty provided by the Company; therefore, the Company shall not be liable for any other implied warranties, including but not limited to merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Furthermore, the Company and/or any of its affiliates shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages or lost profits allegedly arising from the Product, its installation, or its operation.
- The liability of the Company and/or its affiliates is limited to the purchase price paid for the affected Ovlox Product. Additionally, the customer shall bear full responsibility for battery replacement (if any) as well as ensuring the safekeeping of emergency keys.
- This Policy shall not cover:
- – Cosmetic damages including breakage of the door, loss of keys or passcodes;
- – Products installed with unapproved accessories;
- – Products exhibiting damage to plastic parts, including but not limited to scratches, dents, etc.
- – Damage to the Product resulting from non-operation caused by weather;
- – Any modification or alteration of the Product or any part or component thereof;
- – Cases involving the seepage of liquids or chemicals, short circuits, physical damage, improper installation, battery drainage, or other types of intrusion;
- – Damage resulting from accidents such as fire, robbery, or self-inflicted breakage ensuing from incidents beyond the Company’s control;
- – Damages caused by adverse environmental conditions such as direct sunlight, humidity, or vibrations;
- – Damages resulting from third-party peripherals;
- – Damage caused by excessive pressure or inappropriate cleaning tools or equipment;
- – Damages arising from defective workmanship or materials, faulty installations, or unauthorised servicing, repairs, or modifications.
Furthermore, the Warranty for the Product shall not be applicable under conditions that are outside the scope of this Policy. This includes, but is not limited to: misuse or use of the product(s) for purposes other than their intended normal use; handling of the product(s) in a manner inconsistent with standard handling practices; operation of the product in an inappropriate environment; mishandling of the product due to the customer’s negligence; improper installation; failure to follow or apply the instructions provided in the manual; or tampering or repair conducted by an unauthorized service provider.
- This warranty applies exclusively to the initial end-user and is non-transferable for any subsequent resale of the product.
- The warranty for the product is governed and construed under the laws of India, and all disputes arising therefrom shall be subject to the jurisdiction of New Delhi.
- Except for the warranties outlined herein, the company disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The maximum liability under any circumstances shall be limited to an amount equal to the invoice amount of the specific product or any part thereof paid by the customer. The Company shall not be liable or responsible, directly or indirectly, for any claim, compensation, damages, losses, etc., under this “Limited Warranty” due to inconvenience, loss of time, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, loss of data, loss of goodwill, work stoppage, personal and/or commercial loss, compensation for mental anguish, anxiety resulting from the use of the product, or any direct or indirect loss of any nature whatsoever (including any personal injury or death).
- All products for which the warranty has expired will be repaired or serviced on a chargeable basis only, subject to the availability of parts and prior payment.
